Absolutely! You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera—that’s my job. I’ll give you direction and prompts throughout the session while also leaving room for natural moments to happen. Every couple is different, so I’ll adjust how much guidance I give based on what makes you feel most comfortable.

Wear something that feels like you and that you feel confident in. I generally recommend coordinating rather than perfectly matching and choosing colors and textures that complement each other. Once we’ve booked, I’m happy to help with outfit ideas or give feedback on options you’re considering.

We’ll spend some time getting comfortable, exploring the location, and taking photos along the way. I’ll guide you when needed, but you won’t spend the entire session standing still and posing for the camera. Expect movement, conversation, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being together.

Yes! Location plays a big part in setting the feeling of your photos. We can choose somewhere that fits the look you’re envisioning or somewhere that has meaning to you as a couple.

A little wind or cloudy weather can actually make for some beautiful photos! If the forecast looks like it could interfere with the session or create unsafe conditions, we’ll talk through our options and decide whether it makes sense to adjust the timing or reschedule.

Yes! I’m based in the DMV but am always open to traveling for a session. Depending on the location, additional travel fees may apply. If you have somewhere special in mind, reach out and we can talk through the details.
